3. Data SecurityUpon arrival at Zero Trace, all assets are quarantined and audited. We record all serial numbers and asset tags, then securely erase data-bearing devices in accordance with or exceeding NIST 800-88 standards. Clients receive detailed audit reports and customized certificates of erasure, destruction, or recycling based on organizational requirements. |
4. Recycling & ResaleAssets that cannot be sanitized are physically destroyed, with precious metals and valuable materials ethically reclaimed. Devices that pass testing undergo refurbishment, including cleaning, repairs, and upgrades, to maximize resale value and extend product life. |
